Wish
My heart lonely in this starless night.
No embrace of the wind; nor twinkling star in sight.
The world is crumbling down.
It is all turning, turning upside down.
In this world, I can’t see anyone but you.
This wish, I shall send it with this voice to you.
Swallowed by a wave, reaching out to hold your hand.
Reaching, reaching out but touching nothing but the sand.
Left here is the heart darkened by nurturing loneliness.
But this stubborn heart stayed, be it in the light or darkness.
Can you feel it now? Do you feel it? The wish to be free.
Chained; caged because you are all my heart wants to see.
Like an angel imprisoned in a golden cage.
With a song to sing but without a stage.
Longing to be free from this starless night.
To walk without fear in a stream of light.
The sky cries the tears of my broken heart.
Listen to the wish, everything is about to start.
It is pulling on my heart; my wish on a wing.
Can you hear it now? The angels in your eyes sing?
